How to apply - Graduate Nurse Program

Follow the steps below to complete your Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV) ‘Match’ application.

Austin Health participates in the PMCV Graduate Nursing and Midwifery Program (GNMP) ‘Match’, for the following streams:

Applications for 2027 Graduate Nurse Program at Austin Health will open on Monday 1 June 2026 and close Wednesday 1 July 2026.

Ensure you read and meet the PMCV requirements for the GNMP ‘Match’ process
Register and apply to PMCV GNMP ‘Match’
Include Austin Health (you can select multiple Austin Health streams) in your PMCV GNMP preference list.

Our application requirements are outlined below:

Personal Details Form	Fill in your details Include PMCV Number Your Visa details if applicable Statements about Austin Health
Resume/CV	No more than two pages Include table of placements detailing where the placement took place, dates of placement, clinical hours completed and specialty Include two clinical referees
Academic transcript	Most up to date (even if subjects are still pending) Must be an official document /transcript supplied by your university Include marking key
Clinical or placement appraisal or ANSAT Tool - 1	Includes the cover page, time sheet, formative and summative rubric and comments Type of placement appraisal: for all streams, please supply most recent acute placement
