What we do

Our Gender Clinic provides time-limited specialist endocrinology care for adults (aged 18 and over) who are:

• Seeking to commence gender-affirming hormone therapy, or
• Already on hormone therapy and experiencing issues or complications requiring specialist review.

Care is delivered within a shared care model in partnership with your referring health care provider or general practitioner (GP).

This clinic provides endocrinology services only.

Names and pronouns

Some Austin Health systems, letters and text messages may not always show the name and pronouns you use. We understand this can be distressing and may cause gender dysphoria, and we apologise for any distress this causes.
