The Veterans and Serving Members Unit (VSMU) takes a whole-of-life approach to your mental health treatment and support.

We are leaders in developing community-based mental health treatment services for veterans and their family members.

Our services

We provide the following services:

• Outpatient clinic
• PTSD group treatment program
• Older veterans psychiatry
• Rehabilitation workgroup

• Veteran liaison

  We provide support and assistance to veterans who are patients at Austin Health.

• Physiotherapy for veterans

  We care for and support veterans to improve balance, mobility, muscle strength and exercise endurance.
