The Australian Government has announced plans to phase out cheques as part of modernising the nation’s payment systems, following a significant decline in their use.

Many of our donors have generously supported Austin Health by cheque for decades, helping fund vital equipment, research, scholarships and patient care. While we can still accept cheque donations for now, some banks have already stopped issuing or processing cheques.

We’re here to support you through this transition and help you continue making a meaningful difference to the lives of Victorians.
