The Department of Clinical Pharmacology plays a key role in providing expertise in quality use of medicines.
The Department is committed to improving patient care and treatment through research and is also affiliated with the University of Melbourne Department of Medicine.
Our services
We provide the following services:
- Care for patients with blood pressure disorders
- Care for patients with difficult medication problems
- Risk assessment and treatment for people at high-risk of cardiovascular disease
- A state-of-the-art laboratory to test for and analyse hormones, drugs and metabolites in patient samples
- Clinical research
Our clinics
We run the following clinics:
- Blood Pressure Disorders Clinic (run several times each week). This includes ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.
