By car
The Austin Hospital is located at 145 Studley Road on the corner of Studley Road and Burgundy Street in Heidelberg.
Drop off and pickup points
The main drop off and pickup points for visitors and patients for the Austin Hospital are:
- Austin Tower - Drop Off Zone in the B3 Car Park (enter via Studley Road, opposite station).
- Olivia Newton John Cancer & Wellness Centre - Level 2 entrance accessed via the corner of Studley Road and the Bell-Banksia Link
- Outpatients - Level 3 Harold Stokes Building entrance accessed via Burgundy St
Street parking
Some street parking is available in the surrounding streets and is metered Monday through to Saturday afternoon. Check signs for details.
The streets are patrolled regularly by council officers.

These apps can help you find parking, view parking restrictions and even pay for parking in local streets.

Austin Tower car park
The public car park for the Austin Hospital is in the Austin Tower.
Austin Tower is accessed via three entrances:
- Studley Road
- Burgundy Street
- Main entry forecourt via the corner of Studley Road and the Bell-Banksia Link
Parking fees
Parking in the Austin Tower is:
- free for the first 30 minutes
- $8.00 for 30 to 60 minutes
- $15.00 for between one and two hours
- $17.00 for between two and three hours
- $20.00 for between three and four hours
- $22.00 for between four and five hours
- $25.00 for between five and eight hours
- $30.00 after eight hours (maximum per day)
Concession rates may apply for some patients and visitors. Concession rate is $1.00 / $3.00.
Veterans with White and Gold DVA cards are eligible for free parking.

Using the car park
The car park runs on an automated system. Remember to take the ticket with you, as you will need to pay at one of the pay stations prior to exiting. Pay Station locations are marked on the parking tickets. No payment is available at point of exit.
There are two sets of lifts in the basement car park to access the Austin Hospital. Change lifts at Level 1 Main Foyer to access all of the wards in the Austin Tower.
Accessible parking
Austin Health has accessible car parking for people who use wheelchairs at the Austin Tower and Harold Stokes carpark. The Harold Stokes carpark can accommodate over height vehicles.

By motorbike
There is motorcycle parking available at Ref I3 of the Austin Hospital map.
Take the Emergency entry off Burgundy Street, go around the traffic island and head to come back out again.
In the building undercroft to the left there is designated motorcycle parking.
By taxi

- Level 2 Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Centre - entry via Studley Rd

- Level 4 Harold Stokes Building – entry via Burgundy Street

Heidelberg Railway Station is located on Studley Road, 100m from the hospital.
