About us
Our Positron Emission Tomography (PET) service performs around 5000 scans each year, mostly for people with cancer, dementia and epilepsy.
We provide scans for patients as well as for research. Our research programs bring together basic molecular and cell biology discoveries and translate these to improve patient care for people with cancer and brain conditions.
Our services
We provide PET scans to:
- See detailed images of your tumours
- See if epilepsy surgery will be effective for you
- Find out the extent of your dementia
- Find out what kind of dementia you have
- Perform research to improve our understanding of cancer and brain conditions
